Bake Projects support high-to-low, Low-to-Low, and UV Matching workflows. Texture Projects and materials develop surface appearance, while the dedicated Render window offers Raster, Hybrid, and interactive Ray Tracing modes for final views.

When to use RENDERCAD with Marmoset Toolbag

Use this workflow after the asset's silhouette, bake, materials, pose, camera, and lighting already read clearly in Toolbag. A clean hero image can show a character, prop, weapon, vehicle, or hard-surface asset without asking the viewer to interpret the working scene. Choose the view that best explains the asset.

RENDERCAD can explore a studio campaign image, atmospheric key art, portfolio cover, store visual, art-review slide, or pitch-deck direction from that flat image. Toolbag remains the editable source for the mesh, UVs, maps, materials, camera, animation, render passes, native turntables, and technical review.

Finish the Bake Project, Texture Project, materials, scene, camera, and lighting in Toolbag. In the Render window, choose Raster, Hybrid, or interactive Ray Tracing according to the review. Frame a three-quarter hero view or a closer detail view, then hide grids, handles, selections, and interface overlays before export.

Export a clean PNG or JPG and upload that image to RENDERCAD. Describe one presentation goal, such as a restrained studio backdrop, stronger atmosphere, or campaign finish. Compare the result with the approved Toolbag image, then return to Toolbag for changes to the asset or native output because RENDERCAD works only from the exported image.

Refine one area

Brush over part of the generated still and describe the change. This edits the presentation image; it does not modify the Toolbag scene, mesh, bake, texture maps, or materials.

Explore an art direction

Try another image model when you want a different studio treatment, atmosphere, backdrop, or campaign finish. Compare the result with the approved Toolbag render before sharing it.

Use Raster for fast interactive previews, Hybrid for a balance of interactivity and quality, or interactive Ray Tracing when lighting, reflections, and final quality matter. RENDERCAD receives only the resulting flat image.

Keep the approved silhouette, pose, camera angle, focal material detail, and enough context to make the asset easy to read. Remove grids, handles, selections, and interface overlays.

No. Meshes, UVs, maps, materials, cameras, animation, and render passes do not transfer with the image. Keep Toolbag as the source for exact asset and surface decisions.

RENDERCAD can create optional generated image-to-video motion from a still, but it is not a real Toolbag turntable and does not use the scene, camera, or animation.
