When to use RENDERCAD with ZBrushCore

ZBrushCore is suited to shaping and painting digital-clay models, then assessing them with Standard or MatCap materials and a Best Preview Render (BPR). Standard materials respond to the scene lights; MatCap materials carry their own baked lighting, so choose the option that makes the sculpt's planes, recesses, and silhouette easiest to read. RENDERCAD supports the next presentation step when a sculpted character bust, creature, collectible, jewelry piece, or prop needs an art-directed still beyond the working canvas. Start from a clean BPR export or deliberately uncluttered current view that preserves the silhouette, key surface detail, and color placement. Then explore studio lighting, background, display plinth, and material storytelling for a review, concept board, portfolio image, or early product presentation. The generated image can communicate a presentation direction, but it is not evidence of final mesh quality, print readiness, physical material behavior, or a revised sculpt; keep the editable ZBrushCore project and approved exports as the source of truth.

In ZBrushCore, open the sculpt at a front, profile, or three-quarter angle that answers the presentation question. Use a Standard material with lights when directional shading is helpful, or a MatCap when its baked lighting gives a clearer form study. Set document background and floor-shadow treatment deliberately, remove distracting interface elements where possible, and run BPR for the high-quality current view. Export the BPR image from the Document palette. Upload that focused image to RENDERCAD and describe the desired result, such as a neutral clay study, painted-resin collectible, polished jewelry concept, stone figure, or stylized prop on a simple backdrop. Identify features that must remain recognizable, including the pose, facial expression, silhouette, ornament, or painted markings. Compare the presentation image with the BPR source and return to ZBrushCore for any real changes to form, polypaint, materials, or scene setup. Common solutions for ZBrushCore users

Generation runs on cloud infrastructure, so a local rendering GPU is not required. The laptop still needs a supported browser, network access, and enough resources for the source application and image upload.

The core workflow is available in a supported browser and accepts a selected 2D image, so it does not require a rendering plugin in the source application.
