When to use RENDERCAD with ReMake

ReMake was used to reconstruct photo-based 3D meshes of objects, facades, buildings, sites, artifacts, and terrain. Its archived reconstructions can communicate real geometry and surface condition, yet a dense triangulated viewport, incomplete capture edges, uneven photo texture, or scan background can make the subject difficult for a nontechnical audience to read. RENDERCAD is useful when a team needs a clearer presentation image derived from a deliberately framed ReMake mesh view: for an existing-condition report, a design-context board, a stakeholder review, a heritage presentation, or a portfolio case study. Select a view that makes the relevant form, material evidence, and scale cues understandable before generating a polished visual. For a building or site, an oblique view that retains recognizable neighboring context is often more useful than a distant overall scan. For an object or artifact, a close view with the silhouette and key surface areas unobstructed gives the strongest reference. RENDERCAD can help improve visual clarity and atmosphere, but it should not be treated as a source for measurements, missing geometry, defect assessment, or survey-grade accuracy. Open the archived ReMake mesh, or an exported mesh in a suitable viewer, and inspect it before choosing an image. Remove or hide obvious capture fragments where possible, then frame a perspective that shows the intended subject without losing important edges, openings, texture evidence, or known condition areas. Avoid views dominated by holes, alignment artifacts, measurement overlays, or empty scan space. Capture a clean viewport at a useful crop and upload it to RENDERCAD. State the desired visual purpose and setting, such as a neutral condition-record image, a studio-style object presentation, or an architectural context study, and specify which visible features must remain recognizable. Review the result against the mesh before using it in a presentation. Use the original reconstruction and supporting capture data for technical decisions, annotation, measurement, and verification.
