When to use RENDERCAD with Creo Advanced Framework

AFX is built for structures whose main members follow a curve skeleton. That makes it a practical fit for machine bases, guards, access platforms, conveyor frames, steel supports, and aluminum extrusion systems. Profiles can be placed and adjusted around that layout, then finished with the connections the design needs. Because those members remain Creo components, drawings can show their connection geometry, while BOM and optimized cut-list workflows use component parameters and profile lengths.

Choose a view around the point you want to communicate. A wide angle can show the frame's proportions and its relationship to equipment. A closer angle is better for a joint, bracket, plate, fastening pattern, or change in profile. Leave enough surrounding structure in frame so the detail has context.

Once the frame is ready, use the captured view to explore how it could look in a proposal, review, or product document. RENDERCAD can change the visual treatment of the flat image. The editable geometry and production information stay in Creo.

Open the version of the framework you want to present. Regenerate it, check the active representation, and resolve any relevant project warnings before making the capture.

Set a shaded angle that shows the shape clearly. Hide selection highlights, menus, datums, and skeleton curves unless they help explain the design. Keep important edges, openings, connections, and nearby members visible.

Save a JPEG from Creo or take a clean PNG capture. WebP is also accepted by RENDERCAD. Upload that one image and describe the material, lighting, setting, or area you want to emphasize.

Review the result beside the source image at the same angle. Look for changed member count, section shape, connections, holes, brackets, gaps, or silhouette. If the design needs to change, make that change in Creo and prepare a fresh image from the updated frame. Keep the accepted capture with its source view so later reviewers can compare them directly.

Point to the change

Brush over the member, connection, equipment, or background you want to address. The mark selects image pixels rather than objects in the Creo assembly.

Pick an image model that suits the presentation, then keep the original beside the result. Check the frame's shape and visible connections before sharing the image.
