Realtime Landscaping Rendering from Exported Views

RENDERCAD Studio architectural batch image selection demonstration

Create landscape presentation images from an exported Perspective View or Realtime Walkthrough screenshot.
Once the layout is settled, export a Perspective View or save a screenshot during Realtime Walkthrough for a landscape presentation image. Page media shows general RENDERCAD examples, not Realtime Landscaping footage or output.

Built for Realtime Landscaping

Realtime Landscaping is Idea Spectrum's active Windows landscape-design family. Its current editions are Plus, Pro, and Architect. Each combines linked Plan View and Perspective View with Realtime Walkthrough. Pro and Architect add pools and water features, while Architect adds professional plan and documentation tools.

  • Begin after the landscape layout and viewpoint are already chosen.
  • Export one clear Perspective View or Realtime Walkthrough screenshot as a flat image.
  • RENDERCAD receives pixels, not the Realtime Landscaping project, terrain, objects, plants, or camera path.
  • Most image renders complete in about 60 seconds.

When to use RENDERCAD with Realtime Landscaping

The same handoff works across Plus, Pro, and Architect: finish the editable landscape first, then export one view for presentation work. Plus covers the core homeowner workflow, Pro adds pools and water features, and Architect adds professional plan documentation. RENDERCAD receives only the saved image.

Frame the deliverable around one communication goal. An elevated oblique angle can clarify parcel organization; eye-level framing can emphasize arrival sequence or spatial enclosure. Before saving, remove selection marks and temporary overlays. Choose path tracing or an illustration style during export only when it strengthens that goal, since these native settings become embedded pixels.

Use the separate presentation result in a proposal, review, option study, or portfolio. Check it against the exported frame for visible boundaries, structures, paving, water, vegetation, shadows, and grade cues. Keep measurements, elevations, quantities, specified plants, plan sheets, and construction decisions in the native project.

Capture.
Render.
Done.

Choose and clean the frame inside Idea Spectrum software. Plan View and Perspective View remain linked and editable; Realtime Walkthrough is a first-person viewing mode. Make any design revision in Plan View or Perspective View before preparing the deliverable.

In Perspective View or Realtime Walkthrough, save the frame with Export Viewport to File or F5. Select the file type and pixel dimensions before upload. RENDERCAD does not require the project, terrain data, object library, saved viewpoint, or camera path.

Upload the flat file and describe the intended season, lighting direction, material palette, or atmosphere. Inspect the generated result beside the source image. For scene-controlled motion, create an H.264 or H.265 movie from a Realtime Camera; RENDERCAD's image-derived video is a different output.

Refine one visible area

Mark a visible part of the exported view and request a focused presentation change. The edit affects the flat image, not terrain, plants, structures, materials, dimensions, or objects in the native project.

Test another landscape treatment

Explore a different season, lighting direction, material palette, planting character, or surrounding atmosphere. Keep the exported source beside every result and compare boundaries, structures, paving, water, planting, and grading cues.

Choose by the next task

Use Realtime Landscaping to edit and measure the designed site. Use RENDERCAD after exporting one view when the next task is a separate presentation image.

No second visualization scene

The landscape layout and selected view already exist in the native project. Export that view, upload the flat image, and direct the presentation treatment without rebuilding the site in another scene.

Capture or upload the chosen view

Upload the saved viewport image through the browser. RENDERCAD does not open the native project or connect through a Realtime Landscaping plugin.

Realtime Landscaping workflow questions

Realtime Landscaping view exports for separate presentation imagery

Idea Spectrum's current family includes Realtime Landscaping Plus, Pro, and Architect. Each uses a native project and can export a Perspective View or Realtime Walkthrough screenshot as a flat image. Edition-specific design and documentation tools remain in the original project.

Realtime Landscaping Pro and Architect include swimming pools, water gardens, and additional water-feature tools. Plus is the core homeowner edition for users who do not need those features. Architect includes the Pro capabilities and adds professional plan and documentation tools.

Use Perspective View when you want to compose a 3D view from any position. Use a screenshot exported during Realtime Walkthrough for a first-person view. Choose the angle that explains the landscape decision and keeps important site context visible.

Frame the design in Perspective View or Realtime Walkthrough, then use Export Viewport to File or F5. Upload the resulting flat image. RENDERCAD does not require the native project, model data, saved viewpoint, or camera path.

No. It receives only the exported pixels. Terrain, structures, hardscape, plants, materials, lighting, dimensions, viewpoints, and camera paths remain in the Idea Spectrum project and cannot be edited through this image workflow.

Not reliably. Generated imagery can change paving edges, grading cues, planting, water, structures, materials, shadows, or object counts. Compare every result with the native design and use the project for measurements, schedules, quantities, and construction decisions.

There is no native macOS version. Idea Spectrum supports 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 and says virtual machines and emulators are unsupported. You can transfer an exported image to another device before using a browser-based presentation workflow.

A native movie follows a configured Realtime Camera through the editable 3D landscape scene. RENDERCAD generates motion from one flat image, so it does not inherit the project geometry, hidden objects, saved viewpoint, or exact camera path.
